Code of Conduct

Africa Discipleship Bible Institute (ADBI) exists to raise disciples, leaders, and missionaries who love Jesus Christ, obey His Word, and live lives worthy of the Gospel. All students are therefore expected to conduct themselves in a manner that honors God, reflects Christian character, and upholds the values of Crusade for Africa Discipleship Ministries.

By enrolling at ADBI, each student agrees to abide by the following Code of Conduct.

1. Commitment to Christ

Students must demonstrate a personal born-again experience and maintain an active relationship with Jesus Christ through prayer, study of the Word, and obedience to biblical truth. Students are expected to pursue spiritual growth, holiness, and a lifestyle that reflects Christ in word, attitude, and action.

2. Commitment to the Authority of Scripture

Students affirm the Bible as the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God and agree to submit their beliefs and conduct to biblical teaching. Any doctrine, practice, or lifestyle that contradicts Scripture is not acceptable within the Institute.

3. Christian Character and Integrity

Students shall live with honesty, humility, purity, and integrity at all times. Cheating, plagiarism, falsification of records, dishonesty, theft, or misrepresentation of information is strictly prohibited. Students are expected to speak truthfully, treat others with respect, and avoid gossip, slander, or abusive language.

4. Moral Conduct

Students shall maintain moral purity in relationships and behavior. Sexual immorality, pornography, adultery, fornication, homosexual practice, and any form of sexual misconduct are forbidden. The use, possession, or distribution of alcohol, illegal drugs, or harmful substances is not permitted.

5. Respect for Authority and Leadership

Students must respect Institute leadership, lecturers, staff, and church authorities. Instructions given by leadership for academic, spiritual, or administrative purposes should be followed with a willing and teachable spirit. Rebellion, insubordination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.

6. Academic Responsibility

Students are expected to attend classes faithfully, complete assignments on time, and participate actively in learning. Students must strive for excellence in their studies and demonstrate a serious commitment to their training.

7. Servanthood and Ministry Involvement

Students are expected to cultivate a servant’s heart and be willing to serve in ministry assignments, outreaches, and practical activities as directed. Students should demonstrate love, cooperation, and teamwork with fellow students and ministry partners.

8. Unity and Peaceful Community Life

Students must promote peace, unity, and mutual respect within the Institute community. Discrimination, tribalism, racism, intimidation, harassment, or violence of any kind is unacceptable. Conflicts should be handled in a Christ-like manner, seeking reconciliation and forgiveness.

9. Representation of ADBI and CAD Ministries

Students represent Africa Discipleship Bible Institute and Crusade for Africa Discipleship Ministries in their conduct, speech, online presence, and public ministry. Actions that bring dishonor or disrepute to the Institute or the Ministry are unacceptable.

10. Disciplinary Measures

Failure to comply with this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action, which may include verbal or written warning, probation, suspension, or dismissal from the Institute. Disciplinary decisions shall be made by Institute leadership and are final.

11. Student Declaration

I acknowledge that I have read and understood the Code of Conduct of Africa Discipleship Bible Institute. I voluntarily agree to abide by these guidelines and to live in a manner worthy of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
